The purpose of this guide is to provide links to databases and websites to support the business curriculum in the Knauss School of Business.

What is Business Writing?

Business writing is a learned skill over time. It is the process by which you are learning how make your voice heard within the scholarly, academic community. This process involves learning how to research and to write scholarly works, which are "evaluated for quality, disseminated to the scholarly community, and preserved for future use". This is known as scholarly communication which includes publishing in peer-reviewed journals and in informal ways such as newspaper articles, electronic listservs.
