Nursing: Measurements and Tools Resources

Guide to Nursing Research and nursing resources at Copley.

Locating Measurements, Scales, Surveys, Questionnaires

  • Locating measurements for nursing research can be very challenging and frustrating
  • There is not one publication or website that has every measurement
  • Often you can find an article all about a measurement, but the measurement itself is not included in the article
  • It is always worth it to try and email the creator/author of the article to request use of the measurement
  • Always mention that you are a graduate or doctoral student and that you will use the measurement for research & not commercial gain
