Copley Library Interlibrary Loan: Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Requests through the Library Catalog

This guide provides instructions for requesting resources from other libraries through Copley Library's interlibrary loan service.

GETTING STARTED WITH INTERLIBRARY LOAN REQUESTS

1.  The new library catalog allows you to see a range of items that you can borrow from other libraries directly through your search results. 

  • To use this option, enter your search in the catalog. 
  • You will see a box that encourages you to Expand your Search. 
  • By expanding your results, you will have access to titles available from resource sharing partners nationwide directly within the catalog. 

 

2.  If you find a title of interest, you can select to Get It For Me From Other Libraries:

 

3.  Sign in to your library account and then you will see your options for requesting the title. Select your preferred option:

 

Still Didn't Find What You Need?

If you don't find the resource you need even after expanding your search results, you will see an option under your search box to send a request through a blank request form.
