Center for Research Libraries: CRL and TRAIL

The Center for Research Libraries is an international consortium of university, college, and independent research libraries.

What is CRL's TRAIL collaboration?

TRAIL, a CRL Global Resources Network Initiative, stands for Technical Report Archive & Image Library.  TRAIL works to identify, acquire, catalog, and digitize technical reports issued primarily prior to 1976. TRAIL provides unrestricted access to these digitized technical reports through the TRAIL Search Interface.

Advanced Searching in TRAIL

The TRAIL search interface searches U.S. government technical reports issued primarily prior to 1976 and digitized by TRAIL.  These legacy reports are keyword searchable within the bodies of the reports.
