This guide will help you find library resources in biology. Science writings are largely divided into primary literature and secondary literature. Primary literature is the writing about specific research. Science and Nature are the keystone journals that publish primary literature, though there are many others. Secondary literature is the compilation and evaluation of the primary research. Scientific American is an example of a journal that publishes secondary literature.
