Linking Students to Library Resources
If you use the library catalog's permalinks to share library resources with others in your syllabus or Canvas, old library catalog permalinks will not work in the new interface. Your Copley Library subject specialist will be ready to help you identify new links. You can locate these impacted links in your documentation by identifying any stored links that begin with: https://sallypro.sandiego.edu/iii/encore/record/
Requesting Course Reserves
Copley Library's course reserves service for print, media, and online library materials is included in our new library catalog and ARES. Send your course reserves requests to your Copley Library subject specialist and copy reserves@sandiego.edu.
Borrowing and Returning Books and Other Library Materials
Use our new library catalog to find the resources you may want to check out from the library. Need to check your account to renew an item? Access your account through the Sign In link at the top right corner of the new library catalog to renew an item you've borrowed.
Requesting Copley Library Materials
Use the new library catalog to request print books and videos or to access articles and ebooks. You will be prompted to Sign In to request materials that has Copley Library has in its collection.
Library Catalog Changes
You will notice improved results and a different look through a catalog search in our main homepage search box! In the new library catalog, our print and online resources are combined in a single search result page to make your research experience more efficient.
Other Library Services
All other library services (database access, research guides, etc.) and resources will continue to be offered through our homepage. You can also find access to these frequently used sites at the top of the new library catalog page.
