What is Information Literacy?

The American Association of Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) defines information literacy as "The ability to know when there is a need for information, to be able to identify, locate, evaluate, and effectively and responsibly use and share that information for the problem at hand" as adopted from the National Forum on Information Literacy.

Critical Thinking/Information Literacy (CTIL) at USD

Information Literacy (CILT) is one of the Competencies of the undergraduate Core Curriculum at USD.
