Our current Kanopy subscription provides access to over 6,000 feature films and documentaries, including the Criterion Collection. This collection does not provide access to all films currently licensed on Kanopy's platform, which is why certain titles are mediated through Copley Library.
To request a film in Kanopy that we do not yet subscribe, please contact your liaison librarian or login to the Kanopy platform (you will need to create an account first) and fill out the "Request Access" form. The form requires you to fill out your role e.g. faculty, course number e.g. FILM 101, and a comment section to explain intended use.
On occasion Kanopy will loose licensing rights to our content and we will attempt to find another provider with educational rights to the title (e.g. Swank, but no personal streaming services like Netflix).
