SciFinder Scholar [Click to register with SciFinder]

SciFinder Scholar is a point-and-click desktop research tool that provides easy access to the information in the CAS databases (41million substances from 1957 to date, 22 million references from 1907 to date, 6 million reactions from 1974 to date, 750 chemical supplier catalogues and regulatory information), as well as Medline (references from 1958 to date). Includes a comprehensive and current collection of published scientific research, taken from 8,000 journal titles and 35 patent-issuing organizations, through a variety of ways - by author or organization names, research topics, substance identifiers, chemical structures and reactions.

After you register, use this link (https://sandiego.idm.oclc.org/login?url=https://scifinder.cas.org) to connect to the database on or off-campus. It is possible that you are unable to begin working with SciFinder immediately because all seats for the web version of SciFinder are currently in use. If this occurs, try logging in later.
